Kamusta! My name is Arianne Long. I am an emoji enthusiast and avid calorie collector. Growing up in Southern California, I never completely understood why SoCal’s sunshine soaked days were touted as something to be proud of. Then life took me through the Midwest and gave me a crash course on summer days with 100% humidity and winter nights with incessant snowfall.

I currently live on Long Island, New York with my husband Mitchell and our two children, Ava and Theodore. Mitchell is a third year orthopedic surgery resident; I am a stay-at-home mom. Writing has always been cathartic for me. I also enjoy the challenge of capturing beautiful moments within a snapshot. Therefore, blogging felt like a natural avenue to explore.
