Traditional black timber house

April 08, 2019 by Arianne Long

It’s been nearly a year since we stayed at the traditional black timber house but my crush is still going strong. Even more, our Airbnb hosts, Kristinn and Rut, were wonderful. Rut is an interior designer and is the one who designed and decorated the home. Kristinn was extremely easy to contact and communicate with. You can read more about their company HÚSRÚM here. Mitchell and I still speak fondly about our stay at their wonderful home.

The pathway down to the home is a little steep. A bit heart-stopping watching your husband scramble down with your 3 month old.

Coziest bathroom in the world? The floor was heated and full of little whimsical tchotchkes.
